Sihhati
An Arabic-first, AI-powered nutrition app for the GCC — calorie and macro tracking, an Arabic food database, trainer–trainee coaching, and Duolingo-style gamification.

The problem
Most calorie- and macro-tracking apps are built English-first, with food databases that barely cover Arabic and GCC cuisine — and they treat tracking as a lonely chore. Sihhati set out to make nutrition tracking accurate for the region and engaging enough to actually stick with.
What we built
A cross-platform mobile app where people log meals — including by photo — and track calories and macros against daily goals, backed by an Arabic food database built for GCC cuisine. Trainers and trainees collaborate in-app: trainers assign meal plans and can see what a trainee actually logs, while a Duolingo-style layer of daily challenges, points, and levels keeps people coming back.
Highlights
- Arabic-first, built around GCC cuisine and food data
- Photo-based meal logging with calorie and macro tracking
- Trainer–trainee coaching: assign meal plans and see what gets logged
- Gamified with daily challenges, points, and levels
